Eight Ulster All Stars for Red Hands

Peter Harte was named as Player of the Year at the Irish News Ulster All-Stars awards ceremony in the Armagh City Hotel last night.

Harte was one of eight players from the Ulster champions to receive All Stars. He was joined on the team by Ronan McNamee, Cathal McCarron, Tiernan McCann, Mattie Donnelly, Niall Sludden and the Cavanagh brothers, Sean and Colm.

The other winners were Donegal cousins Ryan McHugh and Eoin McHugh, Cavan's Raymond Galligan and Conor Moynagh, Tomas Corrigan of Fermanagh and Monaghan sharpshooter Conor McManus.
