Fermanagh trio weighing up options

Fermanagh's Ryan McCluskey

Fermanagh supporters are keeping their fingers crossed that three of their most experienced players will stay on for another year.

Niall Cassidy has already announced his decision to retire from inter-county football and Fermanagh mentor Simon Bradley revealed that Marty O'Brien, Chris Snow and Ryan McCluskey were also giving their futures considerable thought.

To lose four players with such vast experience would be a massive blow to the Erne County despite the fact that manager Pete McGrath has decided to stay on for another year.

Speaking to the Fermanagh Herald Bradley said: "Marty O'Brien is certainly considering his future given his injury problems with his knees, but I don't know if a final decision has been made.

"Personally I think Ryan (McCluskey) is quite capable of playing a very important role within the team and panel. Whether or not he's going to he hasn't said and I haven't been chatting to him. I think that it's one he's going to have to weigh up carefully."

Snow told the Herald: "To be honest I haven't really decided totally. I was going to wait and see how the club season ends and make a call on it then. I'm not sure what the story is with work and family taking up a right bit of time. I'll have to make my mind up by the end of October."
