McGrath to mull over future

Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath has admitted that he will take his time on deciding over his future in the role.

There is no doubt that all Fermanagh Gaels will be keen to keep the services of the Down native for a third year.

The Ulster side's year came to an end following a brave performance against Mayo in the qualifiers last weekend.

And now McGrath has told the Fermanagh Herald that he needs time to reflect on the last couple of years.

"To be honest I have put in two years hard work and it does take up a lot of time managing any side whether that be club or county," said McGrath.

"I might only need a week to think about it or I may need two months, but I feel I deserve the chance to consider what I want to do for 2017, what the players may want and how I can push the team forward or if a new face is needed."
