Fermanagh will be keen to do justice to Pat King's memory when they take on Armagh in the Division 3 decider according to Pete McGrath.

Tyrone native King, who passed away earlier this week, guided the Ernesiders to All-Ireland B and McKenna Cup honours as well as promotion to Division 3 during his time in charge.

"I know the contribution that he made to football in two counties, as a great club player in Trillick and then when he came to manage in Fermanagh, where he was successful," McGrath outlined to The Irish News.

"He was very, very highly respected by players and by past players. For the community to lose a man of such stature, of such graciousness and who made such a contribution, at such an early age, it's poignant and sad.

"All players are, to an extent, galvanised and motivated by former greats, be it managers or players.

"When one passes away, you'd like to think in your next big game you can go out and do the memory of that man proud.

"I'm sure there are a lot of players who will have that in mind over the coming days and weeks."
