Louth have been relegated to Division Four after suffering a 2-13 to 2-11 defeat to Limerick at Drogheda.

The Wee County make the drop alongside Wexford, who were already demoted before today's excellent 2-15 to 2-12 victory over Tipperary at Clonmel.

At the other end of the table, Armagh and Fermanagh had already been promoted and both Ulster teams suffered their first defeats of the campaign:

The Orchard County were crushed by Sligo at Markievicz Park - 1-19 to 1-8 - while the Ernemen lost to Clare at Ennis, 1-14 to 2-9. Those results ensured that the Louth-Limerick game was a straight shoot-out to stay in the third division.
