Having completed their league campaign, the Fermanagh hurlers now switch their attention to the Lory Meagher Cup.
The Ernemen suffered their fifth successive defeat of the league against Monaghan last weekend and have been relegated to Division 3B, but they can now dust themselves down and start from scratch in the championship:
"We got word on Thursday that there was going to be no play-off to decide on relegation," manager Seamus McCusker told The Fermanagh Herald.
"It's the first time it happened in five or six years so we knew coming into the game we were relegated and I think in the second half once they got ahead of us it was very hard for our lads to keep their heads up.
"We have to just concentrate on the Lory Meagher now. We have to put the league behind us and get ourselves lifted for the rest of the season.
"No one wants to lose all five league games but we just have to get on with things. The team is better than what we have shown and we have to go and prove that."
