Final scores
It was Fermanagh's flying left full forward Ciaran Corrigan who got the scoring games off to quick start, when within moments of this game's start he pucked over a point from play to put the hosts team modestly in front. Almost immediately they latter's Tyrone opponents ace score Damien Casey drew this match to a one all draw, with a well taken free from mid field. Then they latter's teammate Sean Og Grogan quickly established they Red Hand's major scoring ability with his and his side's first goal from play. Fermanagh with hurling fight still in them replied with the match's goal from play, and bringing the games scoring to 1 goal 1 point apiece for this matches' second draw. Then Brian McLaughlin lofted over a near the end of the opening quarter to put Fermanagh 1-2 to 1-1 ahead.  Then into the second Tyrone's Damien Casey pucked over his and his side's second point to create these games third draw of 1-2 apiece.  They visitors now seized the major scoring initiative, when Gerard Gilmore fired home his side's second goal. Tyrone, they now lead 2-2 to 1-2. In a modest reply the Ernesider's John Duffy pops over his side's third point. They latter's brother Barrie exchanges points with the Red Hand's Sean Og Grogan, with score now 1 goal 4 points to  2 goals 4 points. Now with moments to the games interval, they Tyrone ace scorer Sean Og Grogannow massively increases his team's lead with his second and his side's third goal from play. Though there would have to another thirty five minutes to play for, it was that this game's winning initiative had firmly passed to the Red Hand visitors.

Fermanagh Battle on
Very quickly on the games resumption, the Tyrone side now quickly reinforced their obvious dominance, when Sean Og Grogan banged home his major scoring hatrick of the afternoon.  This was going to be a long thirty five minutes for the hosts' supporters to endure., with the latest score now 1 goal 4 points for Fermanagh to 4 goals 5 points for Tyrone.  Undaunted the Ernesider's Shea Curran and Danny Teague reply with a morale boosting scores from over 60 metres out, whilst brothers Sean Og and Conor Grogan point apiece for Tyrone.  Very belatedly for Down and Ulster hurling star Kevin McGarry comes on for Brian McLaughlin. Damien Casey points yet again for Tyrone. With the games third quarter almost up John Paul McGarry pucks over for Fermanagh's seventh point from.  The visitors reply from Damien Casey (2 points) and Shea McKiver (1 point).  As the game goes into the fourth period the park's score board now declares Fermanagh with 1 goal 7 points to 4 goals 11 points. Though now with just over ten minutes to full time the scoring steam had now gone yet out of Fermanagh, when their undaunted captain J.P. McGarry lead a mini comeback when firstly he pucked over his side's eight and point from play. Then completely against the run of play Fermanagh's Shea Curran fired home his side second goal and last score from play. Though had the Ernesider's' had completed their scoring allotment their Tyrone opponent went on to score an additional thirteenth and fourteenth points from  Damien Casey.  Fermanagh players, mentors and long suffering supporters with two major defeats behind them and now facing a long journey to Roscommon now have a lot of soul searching, and thinking needed, not just for the immediate future for hurling in this county in years to come.
