Fermanagh have decided to vote in favour of opening their county grounds to soccer and rugby at Congress this weekend.

Delegates met at the Enniskillen Gaels clubhouse early this week to discuss their voting strategy for this year's Congress and one of the motions considered was the one aimed to facilitate Ireland's 2023 Rugby World Cup bid, which involves potentially opening Brewster Park up to other sports.

The Ernemen have opted to support the bid. "The GAA are very proud of the grounds and facilities that they have," chairman Patsy Dolan is quoted in The Fermanagh Herald.

"And if from time to time those facilities can be used by others, then why not? Provided of course that it comes within the ethos of the organisation.

"We're allowing for flexibility and every case will be looked upon on its merits and those decisons will be taken ar central level. We're an open organisation and I think we proved that on Monday night."
