Seamus McCusker was disappointed with Fermanagh's NHL defeat to Fingal but is nonetheless looking forward to the remainder of the Division 3A campaign.
The Ernemen fell to a luckless 3-13 to 1-16 defeat in their opener at Brewster Park on Sunday and co-manager McCusker told The Fermanagh Herald:
"It was hard to take. We had two points within our grasp and we didn't take them.
"There was a bit of a concentration lapse and within 30 seconds we had conceded two goals followed up by a point, so from being three up we went four down in a short period of time.
"It was a young team there. We've a lot of injuries and there were a lot of new faces. I'm disheartened with the result but not overly disappointed with the team's performance.
"The result was disappointing surely - you'd be targetting to win your home games and now we'll have to get points away from home to try to stay up - but I'm looking forward to the rest of the season."
