Erne Gaels minor manager Liam Mimna was a proud man despite his side's Ulster minor football championship exit.
An understrength Belleek side was well beaten by Donaghmoyne of Monaghan last weekend but the losing manager believes his players can learn from the whole experience:
"There's eight of that team minor next year," he notes in The Fermanagh Herald. "There's a few of them still under 16 next year too so it's a very young team.
"I have four or five players only 15 and it's a great experience for them to come up and play in a competition like this. To play the likes of Donaghmoyne, young players can only learn from that.
"I'm disappointed in a way but the boys put up a good performance and I'm proud of them and I enjoyed working with them all year.
"I think they've learned a lot and it'll only stand to them when they go out to play senior football."
