Peter McGinnity says St Michael's success in the MacRory Cup has been critical to the development of gaelic football in Fermanagh.

McGinnity, one of the prime driving forces behind so many of the college's endeavours over the years, was at the Enniskillen school to help launch the new book, The MacRory Cup.

"Playing at this level exposed players to playing against the best players in the province and this in many cases provided a seamless transition to intercounty football," he stated.

"This link has been to the benefit of Fermanagh football and on a personal level it was when I came to St Michael's that I developed a love for the game and met people whom I wanted to emulate."
