Harte welcomes games

October 09, 2014

Roslea joint-manager Mark Harte feels that his charges will benefit from playing competitive games before the start of the Ulster club campaign.

Having won their fourth county title in five years last Sunday, Roslea now have to wait until the completion of the Donegal SFC before they know their opponents with the fixture set for early November.

However, Roslea have a league semi-final and possibly a final to look forward to in the coming weeks and Harte admitted to the Fermanagh Herald that the games will help keep the momentum going.

"The thing were glad of is that there's no break now until the Ulster club first round," said Harte. "We've a league semi-final against Donagh who hammered us in the league a few weeks ago next Sunday, so it's not like we'll be stale either. We'll have a couple of games that will prepare us as well."
