Lisbellaw senior hurlers, made history, when they became the first team to represent Fermanagh in this code, and at this level of sporting excellence, and very convincingly defeat their hosts Lavey Erin's Own, in they latter's home ground. The St Patrick's lads dominated both the play and the matches' scoring from the outset. At half time Lisbellaw lads were in front by 1 goal 14 points to a more modest 1 goal 11 points for their Lavey hosts.

Second Half
In the resumed second half, they Lisbellaw visitors continued their seamless scoring attacks, when they added a massive 2 goals 11 points to Lavey's modest 2 goals. Controlling both the park and more importantly the score board they St Patrick's lads ran out convincing, with an eleven point margin over hosts, Erin's Own. They latter added a useful but none threatening 2 goals.
Goal scorers for Lisbellaw were Ryan Bogue with two green flag raised. St Patrick's other scorer Karl Keogh though only scoring a solitary goal, was instruemental, with his decisive leadership throughout the game, and lead his fellow attackers registering a massive 25 points from play and frees.
