June 30, 2014
A talented young Fermanagh Gaelic footballer lost his life in a single car crash at the weekend.
Eighteen-year-old David McNulty from Belcoo died when his car was involved in a collision near Enniskillen in the early hours of Saturday morning. His funeral will take place in St. Patrick's Church, Holy Well tomorrow afternoon.
Paying tribute to the trainee electrician, Sean Burns from O'Rahilly's GAA club in Belcoo said in the Irish News: "He was a salt of the earth young fella.
"He just won an award for being apprentice of the year in the local college. He was a very quiet, unassuming young man.
"I coached him at U14 and U16 - he was a very enthusiastic and highly mannered young man."
