This was continuous fast, feisty and furious Ulster Club Senior Hurling League Round 8, where they game's hosts' Lisbellaw, who were modestly leading their visitors Dungannon, until they conceded three opportunistically taken points, moments before half time, when they latter lead by 9 points to 6 points for the East Tyrone side. On the game's resumption, with Dungannon all now fired up, who initially satisfied themselves with additional points, now copper fastened their grip on the games, with two well taken goals. They far from undaunted Lisbellaw hosts kept themselves intact, with two goals also, but it was their failure to match they Red Hands with points, that lead to eventually losing to a more determined Dungannon side.

The Match -The First half

This Round 8 of the Ulster Club Senior Hurling League got off to quick scoring start, with Lisbellaw's John Duffy slipping over a well taken point from play. Moments later Dungannon's Dwyer Marshal brought about the matches' first draw, with his first point from play. With the St Patrick's side being awarded a free and their icon scorer Ryan Bogue doing the needful. When he pointed from a '65. They hosts were now modestly ahead. However due tom the fast pace that this game was played at, very soon Dungannon were sharing scores, when Cathal McErlean pucked over his sides second point. Suddenly Lisbellaw's wee Micky Williamson burst through his opponent's defence and registered his side's third point from play. With this match now going into its' second quarter, and the St Patrick's iconic attacker Sean Corrigan opening his scoring account, with his side's fourth point from play. Moments later veteran Karl Keogh pucked over his St Patrick's fifth point from play. The Cavanacarraggh based hosts now thought that they were about to open up a scoring gap, with their visitors. Not so. Dungannon came right back, with their third and fourth points from play by Mathew Mulgrew and Damian Casey. Only to be replied to by Lisbellaw's Sean Corrigan, with his second and his side's sixth point from a free. Then it was that man Damian Casey who replied for they Red Hand side, with their fifth point from a free. Coming up half time it was they Dungannon who dominated the scoring, with four unanswered points from Damian Casey (3 pts.), and one each from Dwyer Marshal and Cathal McErlean from frees and play.

Dungannon Persist to in Scoring to Win
If was possible this game, was stepped up a gear, when it resumed, within moments of its restart, Lisbellaw's Sean Corrigan burst for St Patrick's first goal, and the game's fourth draw of 1 goal 6 points for they hosts to 9 points for visitor's Dungannon. They latter modestly replied, with points from Dwyer Marshal and Cathal McErlean. Then they east Tyrone side forcefully grabbed this game by the scruff of its neck, when Keefer Morgan blasted home Dungannon's first goal from play. With the score now 1 goal 6 points for the Lisbellaw hosts to 1 goal 11 points for the visiting East Tyrone side, it was going to take a mighty effort for they St Patrick's lad to regain the scoring initiative. But hope rewards they enduring side, and Lisbellaw's John Duffy burst his opponent's defence wall, with a well taken second goal from a free. Still three points behind, it was left to Sean Corrigan and Ryan Bogue to reduce they Dungannon sides scoring dominance, with a point a piece. Now with this game entering its' fourth and final quarter, the tempo of both sets of players soared. Occasionally tempers flared, with the referee resorting to flashing of the yellow card to re-establish order. Back to scoring, it was that man Sean Corrigan, who again reduced Dungannon's formidable lead with his side's tenth point from play. Then back came Dwyer Marshal who popped over his side's fourteenth point from play. Then Sean Corrigan replied, with his side's eleventh point from a free. But as this game began to come to an end, it was the more sure footed East Tyrone that now gained more from their attacks firstly Dwyer Marshal and then Damian Casey popping over two points apiece. But the Dungannon coup-de gra goal that came from East Tyrone's Keefer Morgan who banged his and his side's second goal from play. With minutes to full time, and the Lisbellaw lads sensing time was not out their side, they St Patrick's boys mounted attack after attack to retrieve their game. The dying moments saw Stephen Donnelly and John Duffy exchange points for their respective sides. With the Dungannon side wasting less chances in attacks they ran out comfortable winners
