Fermanagh's Barry Owens
Fermanagh have received a massive boost after talisman Barry Owens returned to the squad.

The Erne County have endured a difficult few weeks as they battle to avoid relegation, while they also had to deal with the exclusion of top forward Seamus Quigley from the squad.

However, the return of Fermanagh's only two-time All-Star will be a massive boost to Pete McGrath and his charges, while Owens himself told the Fermanagh Herald that he was delighted to be back in the fold.

"It's nice to be back," said Owens. "There is a great buzz about the place and Pete and the management are doing a great job. I have a very understanding wife," added Owens, whose wife gave birth to twins recently.

Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath added: "It would be fair to say that Barry is an iconic figure in Fermanagh. It is great to have him back. It is a real boost to everyone and he has brought a real sense of vibrancy and it is up to the rest of us to feed into that and use that in a positive fashion."
