President of the G.A.A. in Attendance
For Fermanagh hurler Lory Meagher Cup Round "2", which was honoured by the presence of the President of the G.A.A Liam O'Neill was by far a very contestable game which saw they Erneside hosts overcome two traditional bugbears, discipline in which their mid-fielder Daniel Teague was red carded shortly after this game's resumption. And the Fermanagh side's propensity for a host of wide's from frees and inexplicable in the matches opening half, was quickly overcome, with the assuming of free taken duties by their Ernesider's left half forward Ryan Bogue. It was initially a more gung ho Fermanagh side that got this matches' scoring off to a quick start, when firstly their left corner forward Sean Corrigan point over from play.
Moments later they latter player was joined in this mini scoring when his team mate and left half forward Ryan Bogue had his first and they Ernesider's second point from a free. Then complete the hat trick of minor scoring late replacement Barry Smyth who intercepted an outward bound slither came up field and whilst doing so pucked far over the Exiles bar. With the host's supporters now settling into a pleasant afternoon over enthuastic hurling and their hurling heroes now up three unanswered points, maybe Fermanagh's great opening win a week early would replicate itself at home. Time would quickly reveal if this was the reality.
The Warwickshire lads now quickly proving that they hadn't travelled from the heart of England then quickly raced up to and passed the scoring plate, when their ace marksman Sean Hennessey opened his side's scoring account, with point from a free. Moments the same player blasted home this game's goal from a matter of metres out from the end line. Almost singled the Cork born hurling ace had almost single handed seized control of this game for team, who both built on that major score and remained front of their host's until mid-way through the second half. The now confidant exile side's saw their Kilkenny born Paddy Duggan added his side's third score a point from play.
The Exile's In Firm Control
With this game now entering its second quarter, and the park's score board now displaying Fermanagh with three points to one goal two points for Warwickshire. Whilst they Ernesider's eventually replied with their fourth point by mid-fielder John Duffy, they were now guilty of repeated wide's mainly from frees. In sharp contrast they Warwickshire lads through the matches second quarter added a further four points all from frees by the uncanny accurate Sean Hennessey. They Fermanagh hosts replied more modestly with their fifth and sixth points by their recently installed free taker Ryan Bogue. With the thirty sixth minute of this mildly enjoyable match now passed this game's referee blew for on an opening half which witnessed no problems for the man in- the-middle. However the host's team supporters were now expecting on this game's resumption a more assertive match from their team.

Fermanagh Come Alive!
In contrast to the game's opening moments this game's joint nominees for men-of-the-match Sean Hennessey and Ryan Bogue clipped over points-apiece from a free and from play. The mantra was now digging in for victory! And score! But instead Warwickshire's Sean Hennessey popped over his side's sixth point from a free. Early signs of Fermanagh's true potential came immediately, when Wexford born Karl Kehoe went on one of his morale raising runs, which ended in with a well taken eight hosts point.
The stage was now set for near thirty minutes of full blooded hurling. However, whatever happened next resulted in the instant dismissal of Danny Teague, with matches' referee running almost the length of the pitch to brandish the red card to the Fermanagh mid-fielder. Now down to fourteen men they Ernesider's were no mood gave way to a team that they Fermanagh men had lead for most of the game's opening quarter.
Taken opportunist advantage of the Ernesider's numerical weakness Warwickshire's Sean Hennessey popped over they exiles eighth point from a free. With the games third quarter now abating Fermanagh's very in form free taker Ryan Bogue popped over his side's ninth and tenth point from play. Late first half substitute announced his scoring presence on the pitch, with the Ernesider's eleventh point from play.
The Game's last Quarter
With this matches' last quarter well in advance and this parks scoreboard now displaying, Fermanagh with 11 points to 1 goal 8 points this was the first draw of the game. However that last rejoicing score for the hosts to savour all of a minute, until they exiles Emmett McCabe landed his sides ninth point from play. That last visitors score was quickly answered by Fermanagh centre half forward Shea Curran who clipped over from play and created this matches' second draw of 12 points for the hosts to 1 goal 9 points for the cross channel visitors.
There now followed a hectic period of tit-for-tat scoring, with Ryan Bogue pucking over two more vital points from frees. He helped by the unusually quiet Sean Corrigan who clipped over his second and his sides fifteenth and final point from play. Whilst they game's host had exhausted their scoring potential not so the exiles Sean Hennessey, who polished off his day's excellent display of scoring mainly from frees, with his sides, thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth point from frees.
