O'Rourke: Expectations are high

The fall out from Fermanagh's Ulster championship exit has seen their supporters criticise the team's performance and manager Malachy O'Rourke believes they are right to do so. Cavan defied the odds to record a merited win against an out of sorts Fermanagh side, who now must plan for the All-Ireland qualifying campaign that begins next month. There have been many questions asked in the wake of the defeat and O'Rourke feels that expectations are so high in the county that supporters can feel aggrieved. "Look, Fermanagh people expect more now that they did maybe ten years ago and that is good. That is what you want. You want to improve and you want to continue to raise the bar," said O'Rourke. "Saturday's defeat is still very raw but it is over and there is nothing we can do to change the result. We just have to learn from it and move on."
