Hurlers back to basic

June 05, 2009
Following their exploits in the Ulster SHC, Fermanagh hurlers must now focus on the Lory Meagher Cup that begins against Leitrim on Saturday afternoon. On a day when most of the attention in the county will be on the footballers Ulster championship clash against Cavan, the Fermanagh hurlers have their own worries against the Connacht side. Fermanagh manager Rory O'Donnell will be hoping that the matches in the Ulster SHC will have brought them on a bit and they will be confident of doing well in this inaugural competition. Leitrim won the league encounter between the sides earlier in the year, but certainly the Erne County has improved since then and they will be favourites to win this tie.
