Gaels strike intermediate gold

Erne Gaels are the 2008 Fermanagh intermediate football champions.
The Division Two side, who had a pretty lean spell of late, caused a mild surprise when defeating Division One counterparts Brookeboro in the IFC decider at Brewster Park.
Brookeboro got the first and last scores of the game but the Belleek men dominated in between and were full value for their 1-8 to 0-6 success.
The Gaels will travel to Antrim to face as-yet-undetermined opponents in the first round of the Ulster intermediate club championship.
