Kernan aiming to edge in front of Leinster
September 19, 2008
New Ulster boss Joe Kernan says the carrot of edging ahead of Leinster in the interprovincial roll-of-honour is an appetising carrot ahead of his side's clash with Munster on October 25th.
At present Ulster and Leinster are locked together on 28 titles each with Ulster going into this year's competition as defending champions.
"Yes it would be nice to go one title ahead of Leinster," Kernan admitted. "But we'll have to win two matches to do that, and that's not going to be easy, particularly as we face a long journey to Dungarvan for the semi-final."
