McBarron backs Ernesiders to rebound in 2009

September 14, 2008
Veteran Fermanagh footballer Liam McBarron is convinced that the 2008 Ulster SFC finalists will be more determined than ever next year to break their provincial championship duck. "Our goal was to win that Ulster title and we fell short," the Dublin-based attacker commented. "We will be meeting up and it will be a case of drawing a line in the sand; what's done is done and we'll try to move on. "We kicked so many wides that it was incredible. Especially against Kildare. We did do much practice on it and we were kicking points from everywhere. "We have lads that are unbelievably accurate in training and with their clubs. "Against Kildare we kept missing and it sucks the life out of you. We have to keep at it."
