Armagh and Longford are leading the way in Division 3A following victories over Monaghan and Louth respectively this afternoon.
The midlanders inflicted a 1-15 to 1-10 defeat on the Wee County at Pearse Park, while goals from Eoin McGuinness (2) and Marty Mone propelled the Orchard County past their neighbours at the Athletic Grounds, 3-25 to 1-10, Mark Treanor netting a consolation goal six minutes from the end.
Donegal are in third place on the 3A table following their 2-23 to 1-15 victory over Tyrone in Omagh, PJ McCarron and Dylan Duffy with the Tir Chonail goals, Damien Casey netting for the hosts, who trailed by 1-12 to 1-5 at half time.
In today’s only Division 3B match, Cavan recorded a spirited 0-17 to 0-12 derby win over Fermanagh at Breffni Park. The hosts led by ten points to seven at the break and kicked on with points from Brian Fitzgerald, Cillian Sheanon and Ed Dalton.
