Fermanagh are sweating over the fitness of forward Sean Quigley ahead of their All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Monaghan this weekend.

The Roslea clubman wasn’t fully fit for the Ulster SFC clash against Donegal, even though he started the match, but was unable to finish the game.

Fermanagh manager Rory Gallagher is keen to have his strongest side available for the clash in Clones on Sunday.

However, he admitted to the Fermanagh Herald that it was a waiting game to see if Quigley would be fit to start.

“Sean carried a niggle into the Donegal game and we just have to see how he rehabs,” stated Gallagher.

“It’s not an overly severe hamstring injury, but it’s a niggle which means he couldn’t open at full speed. We threw absolutely everything into that Donegal game, if he were to miss the next game, we were going to deal with that, so if he misses this one, we’ll have to deal with that.”
