Fermanagh SFC: Semi-finals down for decision

Derrygonnelly captain Ryan Jones lifts the New York Cup as his side claim a three-in-a-row of Fermanagh SFC titles.

This weekend sees the Fermanagh senior football championship semi-finals down for decision.

Defending champions Derrygonnelly meet Devenish in a repeat of last year’s final which the former won comfortably as they lifted the New York Cup for the third consecutive time.

Derrygonnelly may have one eye on another crack at Ulster, but they are composed enough not to take this weekend’s opponents for granted.

In the other semi-final, there has been a lot of talk about Ederney pushing for this year’s title and standing in their way of a place in the decider is Erne Gaels.

Roslea, who were defeated by Derrygonnelly in the opening round must look to a relegation semi-final as they take on Belcoo, while Teemore face Tempo in the other semi.
