Fermanagh captain Eoin Donnelly got married last weekend and his bride admitted that planning the wedding all centred around football.

Donnelly and his bride Down native Claire Adams celebrated their marriage in the Slieve Russell Hotel along with family, friends, club and inter-county team mates.

The couple got engaged eighteen months ago and ever since have been planning their big day, but as Claire revealed to the Fermanagh Herald, all decisions were made around her husband's hectic football schedule.

"Everything we do is worked around Eoin's football calendar. During county season Eoin has a jammed packed schedule - especially travelling up and down from Belfast to training," said Claire.

"We had to plan things like our marriage course for a weekend when we knew Fermanagh definitely wouldn't have a game."

Fortunately for Eoin, his new wife is a lover of the GAA and plays for Down side Carryduff.
