If Fermanagh are to end Armagh's winning streak in NFL 2 next Sunday, then they need to produce a far better performance than they did against Westmeath last weekend, states Erne County manager Rory Gallagher.

The Ulster side looked to be cruising to an away win against the Midlanders only for the home side to score five unanswered points and claim the victory, which was Fermanagh's first defeat of the campaign.

It also sees Westmeath leapfrog them into second place with two rounds of the league to go, so it is still all to play for and Gallagher told the Fermanagh Herald that they need to improve dramatically against the Orchard County.

"No matter what way things worked out it was always going to be a big game, and it is now," said Gallagher. Our destiny is still in our own hands, but it's going to take a better performance that the second half (against Westmeath).

"We've got to look after business next week. We've got to look after ourselves and understand that we weren't good enough against Westmeath, we didn't deserve to win it."
