It is expected that Dublin manager Jim Gavin will be able to call on the services of influential half-back James McCarthy for their All-Ireland quarter-final date on Sunday week.
The Ballymun Kickhams ace missed the Leinster final win over Westmeath and there had been speculation that he could be facing a prolonged period on the sidelines.
But The Irish Times is reporting that he has showed no ill-effects from a "quad injury" on his return to training and is expected to be fit to take up his usual position in the half-back line.
