Manager JP Coen looks on as Mayo celebrate their win over Meath at Lomans Park Trim

Mayo are through to the semi-final stages of the Nicky Rackard Cup following their 0-22 to 1-11 round 2A victory over Armagh in James Stephens Park, Ballina today.

Despite Ryan Gaffney finding the back of the Mayo net in the 28th minute, the hosts led by 0-11 to 1-3 at the halfway stage.

Cathal Freeman drew first blood for the Connacht outfit in the second-half and they proceeded to outscore the Orchard County by 0-11 to 0-8 in the second-half.

Meanwhile, Fingal are also through to the last four after edging out Monaghan in a high-scoring round 2A fixture.

The Castleblayney scoreboard read Fingal 2-19, Monaghan 3-14 at the referee's final whistle.

The visitors held a 2-8 to 1-9 advantage at the break and held on for the victory despite the conceding two second-half Deaglan Crowe goals.

JM Sheridan and Darren Renahan raised green flags for the winners.

In Letterkenny, 14-man Donegal recorded a 3-15 to 3-11 victory over Fermanagh after overturning a 1-6 to 2-5 half-time deficit.

They lost the services of Justin McGhee to a second yellow card in the 34th minute but goals from substitute Kevin Campbell and Ciaran Mathewson swung the tie in Ardal McDermott's charges favour.

Finally, later in the afternoon, Longford saw off Tyrone by 4-18 to 3-17 at Glennon Bros Pearse Park with Paddy Farrington (2), Kevin Conneely and Cathal Mullane netting the winners goals in the first half.
