Defending Sigerson Cup champions DCU are through to the 2016 semi-finals but only after a scare at IT Carlow.

'We didn't match them in the first-half', admitted manager Niall Moyna after the game. The teams were tied at 0-5 apiece at the break, which Moyna describes as 'a wake up call for our guys'.

'They had some phenomenal football players out there. It was a great game for us and hopefully it will stand to us next weekend."
