Kilmacud Crokes' reign as Dublin senior hurling champions is over after they suffered a 0-20 to 0-22 extra-time defeat to St. Jude's at O'Toole Park on Saturday.

Oisin O'Rorke scored half a dozen points to help the champions to a 0-10 to 0-7 half-time lead, but Jude's battled back to force extra-time thanks to a late free from Fionn O Riain-Broin. The outcome remained in the balance until former Waterford star Wayne Hutchinson pointed two long-range frees near the end.

Joining Jude's in the semi-final are former kingpins Ballyboden St. Enda's who defeated St. Vincent's 1-23 to 0-17 at Parnell Park.

David O'Connor scored the only goal two minutes before half-time against a Vincent's side for whom Diarmuid Connolly lined out at midfield just six days after helping Dublin to All-Ireland football glory.
