Denis Bastick hopes Dublin can draw on their experience when they come up against Mayo in the toughest test of their season tomorrow.

Bastick is named at centre-field alongside Brian Fenton for the All-Ireland SFC semi-final showdown with the Connacht champions, whom many believe could cause an upset at Croke Park. The Templeogue man is confident though that previous wins will stand to them come 3.30pm tomorrow.

"You have your doubts, and until you get over that final hurdle, they are always going to be in your mind," Bastick told the Irish Daily Mirror.

"It is a great place we are in right now. We have got the experience of winning. We have done it twice in recent years and we will use that the next day.

"We have been improving the last few years, but there is the mental factor in that. We know how to win, we know what it takes to get over the line. We can draw on that experience now going forward."
