Dublin ran out 11 points winners over Antrim in today's All-Ireland MHC quarter-final at Kingspan Breffni Park to set up a semi-final meeting with Munster champions Tipperary.

The team in sky blue eased to a comfortable victory when outscoring their opponents by seven points to nil in the closing 20 minutes.

Johnny McGuirk's charges, who finished second best to Kilkenny in Leinster, shaded the first-half on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-8 thanks to goals from full-forward Eoghan Conroy and midfielder Fergal Whitely.

Conor Small netted the Saffrons' opening goal in the 16th minute and their second arrived 10 minutes after the resumption, via the hurl of Christy McNaughton, to leave them trailing by 2-11 to 2-15.

That proved to be as good as it got for the Ulster lads, however, as they failed to add to their tally while, at the other end of the field, their opponents embarked on a point scoring spree.

Matthew Oliver top scored for the winners with 0-11 (10 from placed balls) while McNaughton hit 1-5 (five points from frees) for the losers.

The young Dubs will now take on the Premier County in the last four on Sunday, August 16 in Croke Park.
