SF challenge: Ryan goal seals the deal for Dubs

An experimental Dublin side staged a strong second-half showing to get the better of Cork in Sunday's Comóradh Seán Uí Shíocháin senior football challenge in Cill na Martra, west Cork.

The visitors trailed by 0-7 to 1-5 at the break but a second-half goal from Philly Ryan sent Jim Gavin's men on the road to victory.

Conor McHugh (0-4) and Alan Brogan (0-3) were also in good scoring form for the team in sky blue while the game saw the return of both Alan O'Connor and Ruairi Deane to the Cork jersey.

Daniel Goulding and Donal Og Hodnett netted the goals for the hosts.
