UCD are All-Ireland Freshers football champions following a 0-13 to 1-6 defeat of UCC in the final at Portlaoise.
The Cork college led by 1-6 to 0-8 at the break, having played with wind advantage in the first half, but UCD took a stranglehold on proceedings after the restart to run out comfortable winners in the end.
Kerry man Jordan Kiely's tenth-minute goal had the losers in the driving seat but their opponents finished the first half strongly with a run of three unanswered points, scored by Dublin's Colm Basquel and Conor McCarthy of Monaghan (2).
McCarthy finished the match as top scorer with 0-4, while Basquel pointed twice, as did Mayo's Stephen Coen and Tipp's Colin O'Riordan.
Ultimately, the capital-based college struck eight points without reply to capture a brilliant league-championship Freshers double.
