Alan Brogan's inter-county future is set to be decided in the next fortnight.

Speaking after Dublin's O'Byrne Cup semi-final win over Meath yesterday, manager Jim Gavin said the uncertainty over the veteran forward's future will "come to a conclusion over the next couple of weeks".

"Over the coming weeks we have a plan to sit down and we'll talk as the weeks go by. But yeah, that will come to a conclusion over the next couple of weeks," he said.

Gavin was delighted with the way his understrength side finished the game after Meath had come from nine points down to draw level.

"It's great. Not that you try to create the scenarios, but in that game the opposition came back really hard and it looked like the game was going away from us, but the guys dug deep and put together some great phases of play and to come away from Navan with a win any day is a great day."
