St Oliver Plunkett's scored a surprise 2-12 to 0-10 quarter-final victory over Ballymun Kickhams in Parnell Park today.
First-half goals from James and Alan Brogan laid the foundations for the eight-point victory.
The Navan Road outfit led by 2-5 to 0-7 at the break and restricted the 2012 champions to three second-half points.
