There are very few such events for girls of this age group and it can be quite difficult for clubs outside Dublin to get matches because the numbers playing are not as strong as in Dublin. This is why we invite clubs from outside Dublin. It lets the girls play against teams they are not familiar with and also lets clubs and players form bonds between each other. This is a major event in the Ladies Gaelic Football Association calendar.

This is the third year we are hosting the event and each year it has been a great success. Demand for places is massive with word about the event spreading from year to year. Ladies Gaelic Football is a rapidly growing sport and it is now a major part of Fingallians GAA whose senior team won the Dublin county final in 2013 and who currently have 3 club members on the Dublin senior county team as well as representation at Under 21, minor, Under 16 and Under 14. We are always looking for new girls to get involved. If anyone would like further details all the contacts can be found at www.fingallians.com We have teams for girls from Under 8 upwards.

If anyone is looking for a great days entertainment they should come along on Saturday 16th to see the rising stars of Ladies Gaelic Football.
