Costello injury a worry for Dubs

Cormac Costello could be set for another spell on the sidelines after he was injured in Dublin's Leinster U21FC final victory over Meath last night.

The Whitehall Colmcille attacker was replaced after 47 minutes with a calf injury and is a major doubt for Dublin's crucial Allianz League clash with Tyrone in Omagh on Sunday.

It's the latest injury setback for the former minor dual star who missed a big chunk of last season with an ankle problem and a broken collarbone, which he sustained in training prior to Dublin's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Cork.

He also picked up an ankle injury in last month's Leinster U21FC semi-final win over Longford, but recovered to play in last night's final which Dessie Farrell's side won by five points.
