Report: Sherlock steps down from Dublin role as Connolly resumes training

Jason Sherlock has reportedly stepped down from his role as forwards coach with the Dublin senior football team.
According to a report in the Irish Mirror this morning, Sherlock, who was a part of Jim Gavin's backroom staff since 2015, is no longer involved in the All-Ireland champions' set-up.
A member of Dublin's All-Ireland winning side in 1995 alongside Gavin, Sherlock has been notably absent from the sidelines this season.
Dublin's stand-in boss for last month's O'Byrne Cup, Paul Clarke, has acted as Sherlock's replacement during their recent league games.
In better news for the Dubs, Diarmuid Connolly has returned to training with his club St Vincent's and is also believed to be taking part in one-to-one training sessions with Dublin's performance coach Bryan Cullen.
