Academy:The Joe Duffy Group Fingallians Academy returned for another great year on Saturday last at 10am on the All Weather,great to see all the young stars of the future running around and enjoying the experience of Gaelic Games.New Members are ALWAYS Welcome just turn up and see what can happen.Remember the hardest part is coming through the gates .

 

Dublin Senior Football :Well done to Oisin Lynch who lined out for the Dublin Senior Football team in their O’Byrne Cup Semi Final in Parnell Park on Saturday and helped them to a win on Penalties ! view Oisins Penalty on our Facebook page.

 

LOTTO: The numbers drawn out in the LOTTO on Tuesday night were  3,13,23,24,27 we had two winners Derek Rothwell and Mary Hoey who each received €1,290.00 our Jackpot for next Tuesday is €2,246.00.We have added a new way of playing our Club LOTTO through the Myclubfinance App on the Smart Phone and on the Desktop on the Clubforce Web Site a great way to play multiple weeks and not have to worry about leaving the envelope into the club  just one or two clicks can do it from your own home.Also this facility can be used to pay membership.Remember the more people play the bigger the Jackpot is.

 

Hurling : The Club are running a new initiative to re-use any Hurling Helmets and Hurls that are lying around your Home.Anybody wishing to donate Hurls or Helmets drop them in to the bar.This is also part of an initiative the club are undertaking with Fingal County Council to be a bit more Sustainable and Eco Friendly also included in this is a weekly clean up of the Council pItches and the Bar introducing Paper Straws .We will publish more details and inform teams on the clean up initiative as games and Training returns to the pitches we hope that it will teach the Players to be a bit more interested in their enviroment

 

Camogie Level 1 Course : A level 1 Camogie course will be held in O’Dwyers GAA Club in Balbriggan on Fri Jan 25th/Sat 26th and Feb 1th/Feb 2nd  anybody interested contact Anne Marie Brett,please note you must have completed a Foundation course to attend this course.

 

Puck Around :Puck around on the All Weather pitch all welcome Boys / Girls and Mentors from 6pm tip 7pm.

 

Adult Football:Fergal O’Hanrahan has taken charge of the Third Adult team and is looking for Players so If you want to return to playing Football or want to take it up .The place to be is the Club All Weather on Tuesday next at 9pm for Training .The hardest thing is taking the big step back ,its easier after that !.

 

Pitches:All Council pitches are back next weekend so Games and Training can recommence .Please note any challenge matches that are taking place please contact David Mc Kitterick to book a pitch and contact relevant boards for permission remember no permission no insurance.

 

Camogie: Well done to Niamh Crowley who has succeeded in making the Panel for the Dublin U16 Camogie Team . She played in their game against Waterford on Sunday  and contributed  to a super win for Dublin.Niamh is also part of the Dublin U15 Football team

 

Dublin Colleges Hurling: Great to see  Sean “Bingo”  Delaney has been selected on the Dublin North Colleges Juvenile Hurling Team .

 

Gumshields:With the new year upon us please make sure all Football players are wearing Gumshields no excuse ,they are available in bar, also with any injury does not matter what if you are not wearing a Gumshield you are NOT INSURED.

 

Lauren Knight : Well done to Our Senior Footballers yesterday who played local team St Pats Donate in a fundraiser for Young Lauren Knight who has suffered severe Medical Problems recently.She is the Daughter of our former Senior Football Manager Wayne who did so much for the club over the past couple of years not least helping them to regain Senior Champ Status and also Senior Div 1 Status we owe him a great debt of gratitude .There is a go fund me page set up for Lauren

Girls Football:Training has resumed for all girls born in 2010.2011 and 2012 on the All Weather on Saturday afternoons at 2pm Its a super way to introduce the younger Girls to the sport the contact is Donal Cassidy and as always NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.
