The TG4 Underdogs will take on All-Ireland champions Dublin in what is being billed as the "ultimate challenge game" at Parnell Park on Friday, October 19.

The novel game will be televised live at 7.45pm, with the broadcast starting at 7.20pm. Tickets will go on sale next week.

The Underdogs team is managed by a team of footballing legends; former Galway All-Ireland winning captain Ray Silke, former Cork Ladies Footballer Valerie Mulcahy and former Kerry star Paul Galvin.

The Underdogs is a unique group of players, from different GAA clubs all across the country who have never played at senior inter-county championship level before.

In last night's show which was broadcast on TG4, Stephen Scallan - who captained the Kilkenny minor team that suffered a 70-point hammering at the hands of Wexford two years ago - narrowly retained his place in the squad at the expense of Aaron Forbes from Laois.
