Fingallians GAA club notes

All mentors should check on re-scheduled games and pitch availability, after the unforeseen weather last week. Thanks to all who helped out clearing the entrance to the club. Bingo will go ahead as normal this Tuesday evening as will the majority of activities.     

New President: Congratulations to John Horan (Na Fianna) who was installed on Saturday, as the President of the GAA, for the next three years.

St Patrick's Day Parade: Ireland's biggest day and also our town of Swords. It is most important that all teams from under 6 upwards are organised for this celebration. Please contact our Juvenile Games Chairman or [email protected]

Bingó trí Ghaeilge: Ag 3 a chlog i halla Fingallians ar an nDomhnach, 4ú Márta. Costas €2 an leabhair. Ócáid clainne a bheidh oiriúnach do chách idir óg is aosta. Arís, fáilte mór roimh chách.

Easter Camp Dates: Monday, March 26th to Thursday March 29th. Each day from 9am - 1pm. It will cost €40 for members & €60 for non members. It is for girls & boys aged 4-13 years.

Bliain na Gaeilge:  Fingallians GAA have been invited to participate in 'BEO', the national day of celebration of the Irish language to be held in Dublin city centre on Saturday 3rd March.

This will be a family day with a parade from Parnell Square to Merrion Square with a concert and family entertainment on stage at Merrion Square. The Fingallians GAA group will meet, with our banners and club colours, at 12 noon in Parnell Square. We want to see as many as possible. Bígí linn le céiliúradh a dhéanamh. Fáilte roimh chách.

Mar chuid de 'Bhliain na Gaeilge' beidh CLG Fine Ghallainn páirteach san ócáid 'BEO', lá céiliúradh an Ghaeilge i lár BÁC ar an Sathairn, 3ú Márta.

Ócáid clainne le mórsiúil ó Chearnóg Parnell go Cearnóg Mhuirfean. Beidh ceolchoirm agus siamsaíocht ar an ardán i gCearnóg Mhuirfean.

Beidh muintir Fhins ag buaileadh le chéile, lenár mbainéir agus ár ndathanna, i gCearnóg Parnell ag 12 nóin.

GAA Congress 2018: An important stance on gambling was approved by the GAA. " Sponsorship by a betting company of any competition, team, playing gear or facility is prohibited"
