Mannion to miss Kerry clash

Dublin's Paul Mannion gets his jersey pulled by Mayo's Eoin O'Donoghue

Dublin are set to be without Paul Mannion for their Allianz League showdown with Kerry this Saturday night at Croke Park.

Even if the game is called off as a result of Storm Emma and moved to the following weekend, it's likely that Mannion will still miss out due to the hamstring strain he suffered during last Saturday night's win over Mayo.

The All Star forward, who struck 1-1 in Castlebar, was replaced by Colm Basquel after 44 minutes and the Ballyboden St Enda's man could be in for a recall whenever Jim Gavin decides to name his side for the clash with the Kingdom at headquarters.

The GAA will make a call tomorrow on whether or not the weekend's football and hurling league will go ahead.

Meanwhile, Dublin county board have taken the decision to postpone all club games this weekend at both juvenile and adult level.
