Dublin All-Ireland winner Martha Byrne has qualified with UCD for the semi-finals of the Gourmet Food Parlour O'Connor Cup after victory over Queens in Belfast last night, by 4-11 to 0-6. 

"I love it," says the corner-back. "It's two completely different teams (Dublin and UCD) and it's really special to play with girls who you usually play against. It means I can play good fast-paced football all the time."

UCD, who the O'Connor Cup in 2016, will face city rivals DCU in the semi-finals to be played next month in Dublin.
