Our Seniors played the 2nd round Match of the Intermediate Championship against Saul in Castlewellan.  The last league encounter resulted in a draw and after  Mondaynight's narrow defeat by Drumgath, Glasdrumman were hoping to get something from this match.  After a shaky start, Glasdrumman were starting to get to grips with a very determined Saul outfit.  Some of our players battling with injuries found it difficult to match Saul's pace and overall fitness. They went in at half time a few points behind .  The lads rallied again and were making headway  then a saved penalty and a few missed chances let Saul back into the game. They emerged victorious  final score Glasdrumman 2-06  Saul 3 -11.

 

Niamh McDowell had a busy weekend singing the anthem at the football  championship fixtures in Castlewellan on Saturday and at the hurling  championship fixtures on Sunday in Liatroim.   Go raibh maith agat , Niamh, you' re  a credit to yourself  your family and our Club.

 

Congratulations to Clonduff Ballad group on their appearance in Croke Park on Sunday.

 

Our Walking Group spent a breezy evening walking from Glasdrumman up to Annalong on Wednesday.  Thanks to  Sinead for the lovely tea !!!!!!!.  Group will meet this Wednesday at the Clubrooms at 7.00 p.m.

 

Yoga will be starting again in September.
