As it happened: Saturday Match Tracker

July 22, 2017

Galway's Paul Conroy and Thomas Flynn with Jason McGee and Michael Murphy of Donegal

There was football and hurling action down for decision this afternoon as the championships enter their final rounds.

First up, we had the opening All-Ireland SHC quarterfinal as Tipperary and Cork met at the newly constructed Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Then we had the two football qualifiers with places in the last eight up for grabs as four teams bid to retain their interest in this year's campaign.

The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick hosted the meeting of Cork and Mayo, two sides that were disappointed to be taking this route in the championship. Throw in at 5pm.

At 7pm, the last game of the day saw Galway and Donegal go head to head at Markievicz Park.
