MAYOBRIDGE NOTES

There were great celebrations in Mayobridge on Saturday night when the news filtered through that the Ballad Group of Eimear Magee, Jordan Lively, Gavin Gribben, Katie O'Keefe and Bernadette McAnulty had won the Ulster title at the Scór na nÓg final in Galbally, Co. Tyrone. On their arrival home they received a rapturous reception in the Social Club from a large crowd of well -wishers and were warmly applauded on their fantastic achievement. On behalf of the whole Mayobridge community the Club would like to offer its congratulations to the Ballad Group and mentor Edel Moley and also congratulate Niamh McDowell from Glasdrumman on winning the Solo Singing title.
