Glasdrumman GAC Club Notes

December 05, 2016

The annual bazaar was held on Sunday in the Clubrooms. It turned out to be a very enjoyable day for all concerned. Prizes were won, try bakes provided , a good natured auction was held and , most importantly for all our younger members, Santa turned up dispensing presents.  We wish to thank all who donated  cash, prizes , went round the houses collecting, going to Belfast for the shopping, all who made up the hampers and got the Clubrooms ready for the day.  We are grateful to all who attended, bought and sold tickets and Dan McCartan for his mastery at spinning the wheel.  All in all a great day's craic.

Next Sunday 11th sees our County Scór na nÓg  Champion, Niamh McDowell take part in the Ulster semi-final in Swatragh which starts at 3'o clock.  We wish Niamh all the luck in the world on the day . it's been a remarkable year for this very talented young lady.  The supporters bus is filling up well and  we pass on transport arrangements and pickup times to all concerned later in the week.

We also send  good wishes to our Club members taking part in the Newcastle Junior Gleees production of "Joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat " this weekemd in the Annesley Hall.

Congratulations to St. Columban's Kilkeel on reaching the U-16 Ulster Football final. Adh mór oraibh gó léir.
