SCÓR IN CLONDUFF!
Scór na nÓg is now over - many thanks to all the children who participated and to those who prepared them. A lot of hard work, time and effort went into getting the children to this level. Maybe the results didn't work out as we had hoped but look at what has been given to the children - a sense of cultural identity, pride in their own place, a skill they can carry for the rest of their lives and the confidence to perform in public! Well done to all concerned!

SO NOW IT'S TIME TO START PREPARING FOR SCÓR SINSIR!
First rounds South Down - Friday 3rd February & Sunday 5th February
South Down Final - Sunday 19th February
County Final - Sunday 26th February
(Venues and times will be notified in January)
Ulster Semi Finals have been set for 11th & 12th March
Ulster Finals - Sunday 8th April
The All Ireland Finals will be in The Waterfront, Belfast on 5th May.
Please start thinking positively about entering - would love to see a full complement of Clonduff acts on stage come the first weekend in February!
The Table Quiz will take place at a separate venue on a separate date!

Our Cultural Officer Thomas Murnin is waiting for your calls on 07753742650!

CLONDUFF GAC'S SANTA SUNDAY 2016
What a fabulous day it was on Sunday 4th September 2016! Parents and children gathered in great numbers in St Patrick's Primary School - the alternative venue as Clonduff Clubrooms were unavailable due to the recent fire.
The Clonduff FaceBook Page winner - Emma Morgan and her Dad Seamus arrived in the first helicopter followed several minutes later by the man himself! After the helicopter touched down in Seamus Fegan's field Santa was transported to the Primary School where he was besieged by the children. After setting up in his grotto on the assembly hall stage, he literally saw and talked to hundreds of excited youngsters all dying to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. It was an amazing day and whilst the queue may have been long there were plenty of stalls at the Festival Fayre to keep them occupied.
Clonduff Club sincerely thanks St Patrick's for the use of the school, Seamus Fegan for permitting the helicopter to land in his field, Dermot Fitzpatrick, the chief organiser, the helpers Cathy Fitzpatrick, Jimmie Cousins, Attracta and Aidan Brown, Teresa Carr, Orla Maginn, Martin and Marian Farnon, Dessie Doyle, Goretta and Noleen Cairns, Anita Brannigan, Lorraine O'Hare, Carol Magee, Doreen Magee, Desmond Doyle, Robbie McAlearney (Pilot); Young Volunteers Ally Magee, Beth Fitzpatrick, Conor Milligan, James Fitzpatrick; all who had stalls at the Fayre, sponsored prizes, sold tickets or just came to support us! It may have been a busy afternoon but it was certainly well worth the effort! Well done everybody - perhaps Santa will say 'thank you' at Christmas to everyone who helped in any way!
